This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the terms related to donations, volunteer contributions, cancellations, and refund requests made to the organization.
- General Policy
All donations made to One Step to Change Foundation are intended to support charitable and social welfare activities. We value every contribution and ensure that donations are utilized responsibly for the intended purpose.
- Monetary Donations
Monetary donations made through our website or official channels are eligible for refund only under the conditions mentioned below:
- Refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of the donation transaction
- The donated amount must not have been utilized or allocated for the intended charitable purpose
- Refund requests must be submitted through the official “Contact Us” page or authorized communication channels
The donor must provide complete details including:
- Full Name
- Registered Email Address
- Phone Number
- Transaction ID / Payment Reference Number
- Donation Amount
- Date & Time of Transaction
- Any additional details submitted during donation
After 24 hours from the transaction time, no refund requests shall be accepted or processed.
Approved refunds will be processed through the same payment method or mode used during the original donation transaction. Processing timelines may vary depending on banks and payment gateways.
- Physical Donations / Article Donations
Donations made in the form of physical goods, materials, food items, clothes, books, supplies, or other articles are subject to review and approval before any refund, return, or cancellation consideration.
Refund or return requests for physical donations:
- May only be considered if the donated items have not been utilized, distributed, or allocated
- Are subject to verification and approval by the organization
- May not be accepted for perishable, damaged, customized, or distributed items
One Step to Change Foundation reserves the right to approve or reject such requests at its sole discretion.
- Volunteer Contributions
Volunteer services, physical participation, time contributions, social engagement, campaign involvement, or community service activities are considered voluntary contributions toward social welfare.
Such contributions:
- Are non-monetary in nature
- Are not eligible for financial compensation, reimbursement, salary, or refund claims
- Do not create any employer-employee relationship with the organization unless explicitly stated in writing
- Fraudulent or Illegal Transactions
The organization strictly prohibits:
- Fraudulent donations
- Illegal financial transactions
- Black money or unaccounted funds
- Misuse of payment systems
If any suspicious or unlawful transaction is identified, One Step to Change Foundation reserves the right to reject, cancel, hold, or report the transaction to relevant authorities.
- Cancellation Rights
One Step to Change Foundation reserves the right to:
- Cancel or refuse donations suspected of fraud or illegal activity
- Refuse refund requests that do not meet policy requirements
- Modify or discontinue campaigns, activities, or donation programs without prior notice
- Processing Time
Approved refunds may take a reasonable number of business days to reflect in the donor’s account depending on:
